NEWSPAPERDIRECT SIGNS PREFERRED SUPPLIER AGREEMENT WITH SHANGRI-LA HOTELS AND RESORTS

— Asia Pacific's leading luxury hotel group selects NewspaperDirect as its exclusive Print-on-Demand newspaper supplier.

New York City, New York, November 13, 2006—At the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IHMRS) in New York City, NewspaperDirect announced it has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Asia Pacific’s leading luxury hotel group.

This agreement makes NewspaperDirect the exclusive preferred supplier of print-on-demand out-of-market newspaper services to the 49 hotels owned and managed by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts around the world. The NewspaperDirect service is presently installed and available at nine hotels in Bangkok; Beijing; Hong Kong; Jakarta; Manila, Shanghai; Singapore; Cebu, Philippines; and Dalian, China, with other properties to adopt the service in the future.
