TIMES ONLINE LAUNCHES NEWSPAPERDIRECT'S SMARTEDITION EPAPER SOLUTION

Vancouver, Canada, October 18, 2005— NewspaperDirect is pleased to announce that The Times and The Sunday Times (London), have selected its SmartEdition ePaper solution for its Times Online e-paper.

NewspaperDirect's SmartEdition solution allows publishers to display their newspapers on the web in their original formats, with no capital investment and with zero operational costs.
