MSA STRENGTHENS INTERNATIONAL OFFERING

Monitoring South Africa (MSA) has announced that the company now offers a same-day international media monitoring service through an agreement with NewspaperDirect South Africa, the local license partner of NewspaperDirect, the Canadian-based world leader in digital newspaper distribution.

Through this agreement MSA gains access to more than 450 of the world's leading publications from over 68 countries — all on the day of publication. New titles are added on a continuous basis.

According to Chris Vermeulen, Monitoring South Africa's Chief Operating Officer, this strategic arrangement would go a long way in reducing turnaround times on the processing and evaluating of international publications, especially from Africa and the Far East.

"This new service enhances the company's current print media monitoring offering, and will have tremendous added value for our clients. They'll now have their news coverage delivered on the date of publication. Our scope currently ranges from the Far East, Europe, North and South America, as well as more than 25 000 international and African media sources hosted on the world wide web."
